Position: Instructional Designer

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Instructional Designer to join our team. As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality, effective, and engaging learning experiences for our employees. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and instructional technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and analyze content and learning needs
• Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning courses, instructor-led training, job aids, and other supporting materials
• Utilize instructional design principles and adult learning theory to create engaging and effective learning experiences
• Apply innovative instructional strategies, techniques, and technologies to enhance learning outcomes
• Conduct needs assessments and make recommendations for appropriate learning solutions
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets
• Review and evaluate existing training materials for accuracy, effectiveness, and relevance
• Use data and feedback to continuously improve learning solutions and address performance gaps
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and adult learning

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, preferably in a corporate setting
• Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and instructional technology
• Proficient in using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other e-learning platforms
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Creative thinker with the ability to design engaging and interactive learning experiences
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of visual design and graphic design principles is a plus
