Job Title: Elastic Search Developer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Elastic Search Developer to join our dynamic team. As an Elastic Search Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our Elasticsearch infrastructure. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of our search platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Elasticsearch clusters and indices for optimal performance and scalability.
• Work closely with our data science and engineering teams to understand their requirements and build efficient solutions.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to ingest, process, and index large amounts of data.
• Monitor and troubleshoot the Elasticsearch clusters to identify and resolve any performance issues.
• Develop and maintain custom Elasticsearch queries and aggregations to support various search and analytics use cases.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring of Elasticsearch infrastructure.
• Stay current with the latest Elasticsearch features, updates, and best practices to continuously improve our search platform.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing and maintaining Elasticsearch clusters.
• Strong understanding of Elasticsearch architecture, data modeling, and query optimization.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or other programming languages.
• Experience with data pipeline tools such as Logstash, Kafka, or Spark.
• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based Elasticsearch services such as AWS Elasticsearch or Azure Search.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Experience with Elasticsearch plugins and extensions.
• Knowledge of machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) techniques.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
