Crystal Craft Glass is seeking a highly skilled and creative Craft Glass Designer to join our dynamic team. As a leading manufacturer and supplier of glass products, we are looking for an innovative and talented individual to bring their expertise to our company.The Craft Glass Designer will be responsible for designing and creating unique and high-quality glass products for various purposes. This includes but is not limited to, home decor, lighting, tableware, and gift items. The ideal candidate will have a passion for glass art and a strong eye for design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new and innovative designs for glass products based on market trends and customer demands
• Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are technically feasible and can be manufactured efficiently
• Create detailed sketches and prototypes to present to clients and receive feedback
• Utilize various techniques such as glass blowing, cutting, etching, and fusing to create one-of-a-kind pieces
• Research and source materials to ensure the highest quality and cost-effectiveness
• Collaborate with other designers and artists to brainstorm ideas and develop new concepts
• Stay updated on industry trends and new techniques to continuously improve designs and processes
• Effectively manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Glass Design, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in glass design and production
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of glass products and techniques
• Proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling programs
• Knowledge of glass properties and techniques, including hot and cold glassworking, casting, and finishing
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Passionate about glass art and design with a keen eye for detail
