Job Title: Animal Hospital Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Animal Hospital Manager to oversee the daily operations and management of our busy animal hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary medicine, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional care to our animal patients. As the Animal Hospital Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of all aspects of the hospital, including staff management, financial management, and client relations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the animal hospital, including scheduling, staffing, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to all patients.
• Hire, train, and supervise a team of veterinary technicians, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure a high level of performance and customer service.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the hospital runs smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Manage the hospital's budget, including monitoring expenses, setting fees, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
• Work closely with the veterinary team to ensure the highest standards of medical care are provided to all patients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring proper storage and handling of medications.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies to attract and retain clients, including community outreach initiatives and social media marketing.
• Stay informed about the latest industry trends and advancements in veterinary medicine, and make recommendations for implementing new technologies and procedures in the hospital.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Veterinary Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role within a veterinary hospital or animal care facility.
• Strong knowledge of animal health and veterinary medicine.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of successfully managing a team and achieving business goals.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in computer skills, including using veterinary management software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
