Job Title: Student Success Coordinator

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Rising Sun City, Japan

Salary: EUR: €34,000 - €59,000 per year (base salary + commission)

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Student Success Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support and resources to students to ensure their academic success and overall well-being. You will work closely with students, faculty, and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement programs and initiatives that promote student success, retention, and graduation.
• Provide academic and personal support to students, including advising on course selection, career planning, and time management.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify and address student needs and concerns.
• Monitor student progress and intervene proactively to address any challenges or obstacles.
• Organize and facilitate workshops and events related to academic success, study skills, and other relevant topics.
• Serve as a liaison between students and campus resources, such as tutoring services, counseling, and disability support.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress.
• Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in student success and retention.
• Participate in committees and working groups related to student success and retention.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in higher education or a related field.
• Knowledge of student development theory and best practices in student success and retention.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting.
• Passion for working with students and promoting their success.
