Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement database systems that meet the needs of our company
Develop data models and database schemas for various applications
Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner
Collaborate with software development team to integrate database systems with applications
Develop and implement data backup and recovery plans
Monitor database systems to ensure availability and security
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in database technologies
Develop and maintain database documentation and procedures

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
Proven work experience as a Database Engineer or in a similar role
In-depth knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server
Experience in database design, data modeling, and schema optimization
Strong understanding of database security and backup/recovery best practices
Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, Java, and Python
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
