Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement and maintain IT security policies and procedures to protect company information and systems.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions.
Monitor networks and systems for security breaches, intrusions, and other malicious activities.
Investigate security incidents and provide timely response and resolution.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Stay updated with the latest security threats, trends, and best practices to ensure the company's security measures are effective.
Work closely with IT teams to ensure security is integrated into all systems and processes.
Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a security-conscious culture.
Implement and maintain security controls for cloud-based systems and services.
Collaborate with external security vendors to ensure the company's security posture is maintained.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security, preferably in a corporate setting.
Strong knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization.
In-depth understanding of network and system security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data encryption.
Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and penetration testing.
Knowledge of industry compliance standards such as PCI, HIPAA, and GDPR.
Familiarity with cloud security concepts and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred.
