About the Role: We are seeking a responsible and experienced Nanny/Housekeeper to join our household. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care for our children while also maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our home. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent multitasking skills, and a passion for working with children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide full-time/part-time care for children, including infants, toddlers, and school-aged children
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to thrive in
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, including educational and recreational activities
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks for children
• Maintain a schedule for naps, meals, and activities
• Administer medication and follow any special instructions provided by parents
• Assist with homework and school projects
• Attend to children's emotional and physical needs
• Keep track of children's schedules and update parents as needed
• Accompany children to appointments, playdates, and extracurricular activities
• Ensure children's belongings are organized and well-maintained
• Clean and tidy children's play areas and bedrooms
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, dishes, and general cleaning
• Grocery shopping and meal planning/preparation for the family
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding the children's daily activities, progress, and any concerns
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, including childproofing the home and practicing proper hygiene habits
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Assist with any other household tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Nanny/Housekeeper or similar role
• Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
• High school diploma or equivalent; Early Childhood Education degree preferred
• CPR and First Aid certified
• Excellent multitasking and time-management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
• A positive and patient attitude
• Must pass a background check and provide references
