Key Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate freight delivery schedules, ensuring on-time delivery of goods to designated locations
Work closely with dispatchers, drivers, and warehouse personnel to ensure smooth and efficient delivery operations
Track and monitor delivery vehicles, keeping accurate records of delivery times and delays
Communicate with customers to provide timely updates on delivery status and address any concerns or issues
Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation are completed accurately and in a timely manner
Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential delivery challenges and propose solutions to improve delivery processes
Conduct regular inspections of delivery vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition and report any maintenance or repair needs
Train new delivery personnel on company policies, procedures, and safety protocols
Maintain a positive and professional relationship with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders
Continuously monitor and analyze delivery processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
2+ years of experience in a similar role in the logistics or transportation industry
Strong knowledge of freight delivery processes, procedures, and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Proficient in using transportation management systems and other relevant software
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
