Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the dairy farm, including milking, feeding, breeding, and health management of cows.
Develop and implement efficient and effective strategies for milk production, herd management, and overall farm operations.
Manage and lead a team of farm workers, ensuring they are properly trained, motivated, and equipped to carry out their duties.
Monitor herd health and maintain accurate records of animal health and production data.
Identify and address potential health issues and implement preventative measures to ensure the well-being of the herd.
Maintain the farm's infrastructure, including buildings, equipment, and machinery, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Manage and allocate resources, including feed, supplies, and labor, to optimize productivity and profitability.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, buyers, and other stakeholders in the dairy industry.
Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to continuously improve farm operations and increase efficiency.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports, including budgets, expenses, and revenue.
Participate in the development and implementation of long-term business plans and goals for the farm.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Dairy Science, Animal Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in dairy farm management, with a proven track record of success.
Strong knowledge of dairy production, animal health, and farm operations.
Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
Proficient in the use of farm management software and technology.
Flexibility to work long hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Physical ability to perform manual labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
