Job Overview: As the Database Design Lead, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of our company's databases. You will work closely with our software development and data analytics teams to ensure that our databases are efficient, secure, and scalable. In this role, you will also be responsible for managing a team of database designers and providing guidance and support to ensure the successful implementation of database solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the design, development, and maintenance of databases for our clients
• Collaborate with software development and data analytics teams to understand database requirements and provide technical expertise
• Develop and implement database design strategies to ensure data integrity, security, and performance
• Manage a team of database designers and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful implementation of database solutions
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Develop and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions
• Stay updated with the latest database technologies and trends and make recommendations for improvement
• Identify and implement opportunities for automation and optimization of database processes
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5 years of experience in database design and management
• Proficient in database design principles and methodologies
• Strong understanding of database management systems and SQL
• Experience with data modeling and database normalization
• Experience with data warehouse design and implementation
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
