Job Title: Senior Loan Processor

Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Loan Processor to join our team. As a Senior Loan Processor, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the loan processing functions and ensuring timely and accurate completion of loan applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of loan processing procedures, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze loan applications to ensure all necessary information is provided and meets company and regulatory standards.
• Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, and underwriters to obtain missing information or clarification on application details.
• Order and review credit reports, appraisals, and other necessary documentation to assess loan eligibility.
• Prepare and submit loan files to underwriting for final approval.
• Coordinate with title companies, insurance agents, and other third-party vendors to obtain required documentation for loan closing.
• Ensure all loan files are complete and accurate before submission to the closing department.
• Monitor and track loan progress, keeping all parties informed of any updates or changes.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the loan process.
• Train and mentor junior loan processors to ensure efficient and accurate processing of loans.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in loan processing, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.
• Extensive knowledge of loan processing procedures, regulations, and guidelines.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and loan processing software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of FHA, VA, and conventional loan programs is a plus.
