Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and managing transportation infrastructure projects from conception to completion. You will work closely with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders to develop cost-effective and sustainable solutions that improve the movement of people and goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct transportation studies and analyze data to identify issues and develop solutions
• Prepare and review plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects
• Utilize software, such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D, to design and draft transportation infrastructure
• Coordinate with project team members, including engineers, planners, and technicians, to ensure project deadlines and budget are met
• Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project sites
• Prepare and review reports, proposals, and other project deliverables
• Communicate with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders to provide project updates and address any concerns
• Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and regulations related to transportation engineering
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technicians

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation engineering
• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
• Proficiency in design software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation
• Strong understanding of transportation engineering principles and practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings
