Job Title: Senior Packaging Designer

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Packaging Designer to join our dynamic and creative team. As a Senior Packaging Designer, you will be responsible for leading and managing the design process for our packaging projects, from concept to final execution. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to develop innovative packaging solutions that not only meet our clients' needs but also elevate our brand's image in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the entire packaging design process, from concept development to final production
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and production to understand project requirements and objectives
• Develop creative and innovative packaging designs that align with our brand image and target audience
• Create 2D and 3D mock-ups and prototypes to showcase packaging designs
• Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to ensure our packaging designs are relevant and competitive
• Present design concepts and prototypes to internal and external stakeholders for feedback and approval
• Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure packaging designs are feasible and cost-effective
• Manage and mentor a team of junior packaging designers, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop their skills
• Ensure all packaging designs adhere to brand guidelines and meet regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure packaging designs are produced accurately and on time

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, packaging design, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in packaging design, preferably in a leadership role
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of packaging design projects
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design software
• Knowledge of printing techniques and materials used in packaging production
• Experience working with suppliers and manufacturers to bring packaging designs to life
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design
• Team player with excellent leadership and mentoring skills
