Job Title: Water Resource Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Resource Manager to join our team. As a Water Resource Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and conservation of water resources, ensuring sustainable usage and protection of this vital natural resource. Your primary focus will be to develop and implement innovative strategies for managing water resources, while also ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement water resource management plans and strategies to ensure sustainable usage and conservation of water resources.
• Monitor and evaluate water resource management programs, policies and procedures, and recommend necessary changes or improvements.
• Conduct research and gather data to analyze water resource trends, identify potential issues and develop solutions to address them.
• Collaborate with government agencies, stakeholders, and other relevant organizations to develop and implement water resource management initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to water resource management.
• Oversee the development and implementation of water resource monitoring and reporting systems.
• Manage project budgets and resources, and ensure timely completion of projects.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on water resource management issues to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify and secure funding opportunities for water resource management projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in water resource management.
• Prepare and present reports, presentations, and other materials related to water resource management to various stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Water Resource Management, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in water resource management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of water resource management principles, methods, and practices.
• In-depth understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to water resource management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
