Job Title: Express Messenger

Position Overview: We are seeking an efficient and reliable Express Messenger to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering packages and important documents in a timely and safe manner. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver packages and documents to various locations in a timely and safe manner
• Plan and organize delivery routes to maximize efficiency
• Ensure packages are delivered to the correct recipient and obtain necessary signatures
• Communicate with clients and provide exceptional customer service
• Handle any questions or concerns from clients regarding their packages
• Keep accurate records of packages delivered and obtain proof of delivery when necessary
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving and delivering packages
• Follow company procedures and protocols at all times
• Report any issues or delays with deliveries to the appropriate supervisor
• Manage delivery schedules and prioritize urgent deliveries
• Assist with loading and unloading packages from the delivery vehicle
• Monitor and maintain inventory of delivery supplies
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient delivery operations
• Continuously evaluate and suggest improvements to delivery processes and procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Familiarity with local roads and neighborhoods
• Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Basic math and computer skills
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
