Salary: EUR: €68,000 - €102,000 per year

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Academic Advisor to join our team. As an Academic Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing guidance and support to students throughout their academic journey. You will work closely with students to help them navigate their academic requirements and make informed decisions about their education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic advising to students on course selection, degree requirements, and academic policies and procedures.
• Assist students in developing a personalized academic plan that aligns with their goals and interests.
• Monitor student progress and intervene when necessary to ensure academic success.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify and address any academic concerns or challenges.
• Refer students to appropriate resources and support services, such as tutoring and career counseling.
• Participate in orientation sessions and other events to help students acclimate to the university environment.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of student interactions and progress.
• Stay current on university policies, procedures, and academic programs to provide accurate and relevant information to students.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of academic advising services by providing feedback and suggestions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in academic advising or a related field.
• Knowledge of academic policies and procedures, degree requirements, and course selection.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
• Proficient in using technology and student information systems.
• Passion for helping students achieve their academic and career goals.
