Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards before they reach our customers. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for delivering top-quality products and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough and detailed inspections of products at various stages of the production process, including raw materials, in-process, and finished goods
• Perform visual inspections, measurements, and tests to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards
• Identify and report any deviations or defects in products, materials, or processes
• Utilize various inspection tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to measure and verify product dimensions
• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality control procedures
• Communicate inspection results and provide feedback to production teams
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve any quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, test results, and any corrective actions taken
• Participate in the continuous improvement of quality control processes and procedures
• Train and mentor new Quality Control Inspectors as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or college degree in a related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quality Control Inspector in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment
• Strong understanding of quality control processes and standards
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems is a plus

Working Conditions:

• The Quality Control Inspector will primarily work in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to noise, dust, and other industrial hazards.
• This position may require standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• The Quality Control Inspector may be required to work overtime and weekends as needed.
