Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain database applications
Collaborate with software development team to integrate database applications into our overall software architecture
Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner
Develop and implement database backup and recovery strategies
Create and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions
Stay up-to-date with latest database technologies and industry trends
Provide technical support to internal teams and clients as needed
Continuously improve database applications and processes to increase efficiency and productivity
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Work with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Database Applications Engineer or similar role
Strong knowledge of database design and development, including SQL, stored procedures, and triggers
Experience with database administration and performance tuning
Proficiency in database management tools and software, such as Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB
Experience with data modeling and data warehousing concepts
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
