Job Title: Curriculum Development Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Curriculum Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative and effective curriculum materials for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and curriculum development, as well as a passion for creating engaging and relevant learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives and develop curriculum materials that align with those objectives
• Research and analyze industry trends and best practices to ensure curriculum materials are up-to-date and relevant
• Design and develop engaging and interactive learning activities, assessments, and resources for various delivery methods (e.g. online, in-person, blended)
• Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps in current curriculum and make recommendations for improvements
• Review and revise existing curriculum materials to ensure accuracy and effectiveness
• Utilize a variety of instructional design models and theories to create high-quality learning experiences
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure curriculum materials are integrated with other learning initiatives and programs
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and instructional design techniques to enhance curriculum development processes
• Evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum materials through assessments and feedback from learners and instructors, and make necessary modifications
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality
• Provide training and support to instructors on how to effectively deliver curriculum materials

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development, preferably in a corporate or educational setting
• Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, theories, and best practices
• Proficiency in using instructional design software (e.g. Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia)
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated creativity and innovative thinking in curriculum development
• Passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
