Job Title: Farm Production Team Lead

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Farm Production Team Lead to join our dynamic team. As the Farm Production Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our farm, managing a team of production workers, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This is a leadership role that requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of agricultural practices and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of production workers, including hiring, training, and scheduling
• Oversee all aspects of farm production, including planting, harvesting, and maintenance
• Develop and implement production plans and strategies to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of products
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies for production
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
• Maintain accurate records and reports on production activities and performance
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate and prioritize tasks
• Identify and troubleshoot any issues or challenges that may arise in production processes
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to continuously improve production operations
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote productivity and team morale

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in farm production, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of agricultural practices and procedures
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Proven ability to develop and implement production plans and strategies
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
• Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as needed
