Online Learning Specialist

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday during regular business hours. However, some flexibility in working hours may be required to meet project deadlines. This position will be primarily remote, but some travel may be required for training and collaboration purposes. Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Online Learning Specialist to join our team. As an Online Learning Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing online learning courses and programs for our organization. You will work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality online learning experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, online learning technologies, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement online learning courses and programs that align with organizational goals and objectives
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content and ensure accuracy and relevance of course materials
• Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
• Incorporate multimedia elements, such as videos, animations, and simulations, to enhance learning
• Manage the development process from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality courses
• Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure courses meet instructional design standards and are error-free
• Monitor and analyze learner feedback and course evaluations to make improvements and enhancements to courses
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in online learning and instructional design
• Train and support faculty and staff on the use of online learning technologies and instructional design techniques
• Collaborate with the IT team to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure smooth delivery of online courses
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design and development of online learning courses
• Proficient in using online learning authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate, or Camtasia
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and online learning platforms, such as Moodle, Canvas, or Blackboard
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design models, such as ADDIE or SAM
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and guidelines for online learning
• Creative and innovative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and create engaging learning experiences
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
