Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Community Engagement Coordinator to join our team. As the Community Engagement Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing community engagement strategies, programs, and initiatives to increase community involvement and support for our organization's mission and goals. This is a vital role that requires strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills, as well as a passion for making a positive impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement community engagement strategies, including outreach and partnership programs, to promote the organization's goals and increase community involvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and prioritize community engagement opportunities and initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and volunteers to support the organization's mission.
• Plan, organize, and execute community events, workshops, and activities to raise awareness and support for the organization's initiatives.
• Manage and track community engagement metrics and prepare reports to evaluate the effectiveness of community engagement efforts.
• Serve as a liaison between the organization and the community, responding to inquiries and providing information about programs, events, and initiatives.
• Develop and manage communication materials, including newsletters, social media posts, and press releases, to promote community engagement and showcase the organization's impact.
• Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all community engagement efforts.
• Stay up-to-date with community trends and issues to inform and guide community engagement strategies and initiatives.
• Manage and maintain a database of community contacts, volunteers, and partners to facilitate communication and engagement efforts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in community engagement, outreach, or public relations.
• Strong understanding of community engagement principles and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Proven experience in developing and executing community engagement strategies and initiatives.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in using social media platforms and other communication tools to engage the community.
• Passion for community service and making a positive impact.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Knowledge of the local community and its resources is a plus.
