Position: Data Science Lead

Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Data Science Lead to join our dynamic team. As the Data Science Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire data science process, from identifying business problems to developing solutions and implementing them. You will also be responsible for managing a team of data scientists and guiding them towards delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the data science team in developing and implementing data-driven solutions to solve complex business problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data science strategies to address them.
• Conduct research and develop innovative methods and algorithms to derive insights from large and complex datasets.
• Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to support decision-making and enhance business processes.
• Manage and mentor a team of data scientists, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality work.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data science and machine learning techniques, and incorporate them into the team's work.
• Communicate complex data science concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure seamless integration of data science solutions into existing systems.
• Oversee the data science process, from data collection and preprocessing to model deployment and monitoring.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of data science solutions, and continuously improve and optimize them.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing data science solutions that have had a significant impact on business outcomes.
• Strong background in statistics, machine learning, and predictive modeling techniques.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data science libraries and frameworks.
• Experience with SQL and database management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
