About the Role: Wave Wireless is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Wireless Network Technician to join our growing team. As a Wireless Network Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's wireless network infrastructure. You will work closely with our network engineers and other IT professionals to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our wireless network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain wireless network equipment such as access points, controllers, and switches
• Conduct site surveys to determine optimal placement and coverage of wireless network devices
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to wireless network connectivity, performance, and security
• Monitor network traffic and implement necessary changes to improve network performance and reliability
• Collaborate with network engineers to design and implement new wireless network solutions
• Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure the security and stability of the wireless network
• Create and maintain documentation of network configurations and procedures
• Provide technical support to end-users for wireless network-related issues
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in wireless network technology

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of wireless network protocols and standards such as 802.11a/b/g/n/ac
• Experience with wireless network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Aruba, and Ruckus
• Familiarity with network security protocols and best practices
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
