Position: Data Science Coach

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Science Coach to join our team and help us empower individuals to become successful data scientists. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs, providing guidance and support to students, and helping them develop the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the field of data science.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver training programs on various data science topics including programming languages, statistics, machine learning, and data visualization
• Create course materials such as presentations, exercises, and assignments to facilitate learning and understanding
• Provide one-on-one coaching and support to students, addressing their individual learning needs and helping them overcome challenges
• Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to students on their progress
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the field of data science and incorporate them into training programs
• Collaborate with the curriculum development team to continuously improve and enhance the training curriculum
• Mentor and guide students in their data science projects, providing them with industry insights and best practices
• Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for students, answering their questions and providing additional support as needed
• Organize workshops, webinars, and other learning events to engage and educate the data science community
• Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new students, promoting the training programs and showcasing the benefits of becoming a data scientist

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data science or a related field
• Strong understanding of data science concepts, tools, and techniques
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and data visualization tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively coach and mentor individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Passion for teaching and helping others succeed
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time-management skills
• Experience with curriculum development and training delivery is a plus
