Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement project plans for shipbuilding projects, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and develop contingency plans to mitigate them
Conduct regular project meetings and provide progress reports to senior management and clients
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure ship designs meet project specifications and requirements
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for materials and services
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards
Oversee the testing and commissioning of ships before delivery to clients
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in shipbuilding project management
Strong knowledge of shipbuilding processes, materials, and regulations
Proven track record of successfully managing complex shipbuilding projects from conception to delivery
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proficient in project management tools and software
Strong leadership and team management skills
