We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fund-Raising Manager to join our team. This position requires a dynamic individual who is passionate about making a positive impact in the world through successful fund-raising efforts. As the Fund-Raising Manager, you will play a critical role in securing financial support for our organization’s mission and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fund-raising strategy to meet the organization’s financial needs and goals
- Identify and cultivate potential donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential donors through various communication channels
- Plan and execute fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives to increase donor engagement and contributions
- Create compelling and persuasive fundraising materials, including proposals, presentations, and reports
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the organization’s mission and goals are effectively communicated to donors and stakeholders
- Monitor and analyze fundraising data to track progress and make informed decisions regarding future strategies
- Manage a team of fund-raising staff and volunteers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in fund-raising, and incorporate innovative ideas into the organization’s fundraising efforts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fund-raising, preferably in the non-profit sector
- Proven track record of successfully meeting and exceeding fundraising goals
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Exceptional writing and presentation skills
- Knowledge of fundraising software and databases
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for the organization’s mission and goals
