Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Replication Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Database Replication Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing replication of our databases across multiple servers. You will work closely with our database administrators and IT team to develop and implement efficient replication strategies, troubleshoot any issues, and ensure the integrity and availability of our data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement database replication strategies to ensure the availability and reliability of critical data.
• Monitor and maintain database replication processes to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to database replication, including identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with the database administrators and IT team to design and implement backup and disaster recovery plans.
• Conduct regular audits and tests to ensure the effectiveness of database replication processes.
• Develop and maintain documentation for database replication processes and procedures.
• Identify and recommend improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of database replication.
• Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to database replication.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in database management, with a focus on database replication.
• Proven experience managing replication processes for large and complex databases.
• Strong knowledge of database replication technologies and tools, such as Oracle Data Guard, MySQL Replication, and Microsoft SQL Server Always On.
• Proficient in SQL and database query optimization.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery planning.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
