Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute shipbuilding plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the shipbuilding facility, including production, quality control, and safety.
Lead a team of engineers, designers, and production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all project requirements are met, including engineering, procurement, and logistics.
Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet project milestones and deadlines.
Identify and resolve any potential issues or delays that may arise during the shipbuilding process.
Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and standards, as well as company policies and procedures.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying areas for optimization and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in shipbuilding operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
In-depth knowledge of shipbuilding processes, procedures, and industry standards.
Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing and developing a team.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of budgeting and cost control principles.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
