Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Public Safety Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law enforcement or public safety, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to keeping our community safe. As a Public Safety Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and community members. This role requires a high level of professionalism, integrity, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with composure and tact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of all individuals and property.
• Respond to emergency calls, including but not limited to, medical emergencies, criminal activity, and fire alarms.
• Conduct investigations and gather evidence to support criminal cases and maintain accurate records.
• Enforce all laws, rules, and regulations in accordance with federal, state, and local jurisdictions.
• Provide guidance and assistance to community members, such as directing traffic, giving directions, and providing information.
• Prepare detailed and accurate reports on incidents, accidents, and other relevant events.
• Monitor security systems and equipment, reporting any malfunctions or suspicious activities.
• Work closely with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services to coordinate responses to incidents.
• Participate in training and development programs to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in law enforcement, security, or public safety.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and handle high-pressure situations with composure and tact.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be physically fit and able to perform all essential job duties.
