Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the entire production process, from raw materials to finished products
Create and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and ensure on-time delivery
Monitor and control production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met
Train, supervise, and evaluate production staff to ensure they are meeting their performance goals
Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations
Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs
Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing department to ensure adequate supply of raw materials
Troubleshoot any production issues and make necessary adjustments to prevent delays
Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition and report any malfunctions to maintenance department
Keep accurate records of production data, including yields, waste, and downtime
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and customers

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in food science, culinary arts, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in food production, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP principles
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed
