Location: Nevada, United States

Overview: FarmFresh Agri is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Crop Production Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture and crop production, along with a passion for sustainable farming practices. As a Crop Production Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the production of crops from seed to harvest. You will work closely with our team of experts to ensure the success of our agricultural operations and contribute to the growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and execute crop production activities, including planting, fertilization, irrigation, pest control, and harvesting.
• Monitor crop growth and health, and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimum yields.
• Develop and implement strategies for sustainable farming practices, including soil and water conservation, crop rotation, and integrated pest management.
• Collaborate with the research and development team to test new seed varieties, fertilizers, and pest control methods.
• Conduct regular soil tests and make recommendations for soil amendments as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all production activities and crop yields.
• Train and supervise farm workers and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Monitor and manage budgets for crop production activities.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in crop production techniques.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues that may impact crop production, and develop solutions to minimize their impact.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Crop Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in crop production, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of crop production techniques and sustainable farming practices.
• Proficiency in using farm equipment and irrigation systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work long hours and in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of organic farming practices is a plus.
