Key Responsibilities:

Create and implement lesson plans for dance classes based on the curriculum and age group of students
Teach and demonstrate proper dance techniques and movements to students
Provide constructive feedback and corrections to students to help them improve their skills
Plan and choreograph dance routines for performances and competitions
Organize and lead rehearsals for performances and competitions
Collaborate with other dance instructors to ensure consistency in teaching styles and techniques
Communicate effectively with students and their parents regarding progress, upcoming events, and any necessary changes to the schedule
Stay updated on current trends and developments in the dance industry to constantly improve teaching methods and class content
Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all students
Attend staff meetings and trainings as required by the studio

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Dance or related field (preferred)
Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching dance to students of all ages and skill levels
Strong foundation in various dance styles, including ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, and contemporary
Ability to effectively communicate and work with students of all ages and backgrounds
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Passion for teaching and inspiring students to reach their full potential
Reliable and punctual with a professional demeanor
CPR and First Aid certified (preferred)
