About the Role: FunZone Recreation Hub is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Leisure Services Director to join our dynamic team. As the Leisure Services Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our leisure services department, including planning, organizing, and implementing various recreational programs and activities for our clients. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our team to create an engaging and enjoyable experience for our clients, ensuring that all activities are conducted in a safe and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive leisure services program that caters to the needs and interests of our clients.
• Manage a team of leisure services staff, providing guidance, support, and training when needed.
• Collaborate with other department heads to ensure that the leisure services program aligns with the overall mission and goals of the company.
• Plan and organize various recreational activities, such as sports leagues, fitness classes, arts and crafts, and special events.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the leisure services program, making necessary adjustments to ensure client satisfaction.
• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all leisure services equipment and facilities.
• Develop and manage the budget for the leisure services department, ensuring that all expenses are within the allocated budget.
• Create and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to enhance the leisure services program.
• Provide excellent customer service to all clients, responding to inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure that all leisure services activities and facilities comply with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Leisure Studies, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of recreational activities and trends.
• Experience in budget management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
