Position: Broadcast Reporter

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Broadcast Reporter to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research and gather information on various news stories and events
• Develop and maintain relationships with key sources for news leads and information
• Collaborate with producers and editors to determine the most effective and informative way to present news stories
• Write and deliver accurate news reports for live broadcasts and pre-recorded segments
• Conduct on-camera interviews with key figures and experts to provide insight and analysis on news stories
• Conduct field reporting and live coverage of breaking news events
• Stay up-to-date with current events and trends in order to provide timely and relevant news coverage
• Use social media platforms to engage with audience and promote news content
• Attend press conferences, events, and other related activities to gather news content
• Adhere to ethical and journalistic standards in all aspects of reporting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Broadcast Reporter
• Strong on-camera presence and delivery skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and in high-pressure situations
• Knowledge of journalistic standards and ethics
• Proficient in using social media for news reporting and promotion
• Strong research and interviewing skills
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
