Job Overview: As an IT Security Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and solutions to our clients on all aspects of information security. You will work closely with our clients to assess their current security systems, identify potential vulnerabilities, and develop strategies to mitigate risks. You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures to protect our clients' data and systems from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed assessments of our clients' current security systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
• Identify potential vulnerabilities and risks in the clients' systems and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Collaborate with our clients to understand their security needs and provide recommendations for the most suitable security solutions.
• Design, implement, and maintain security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols, to protect our clients' data and systems.
• Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to identify potential security breaches and take necessary actions to prevent or mitigate them.
• Perform regular security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, and provide recommendations to improve our clients' security posture.
• Train and educate our clients' employees on best practices for information security.
• Work closely with other teams, such as network engineers and software developers, to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of our clients' systems.
• Provide technical support and assistance to our clients in case of security incidents.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security, preferably in a consulting role.
• Strong understanding of network and system security principles, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
• Experience in conducting security assessments and audits.
• Familiarity with security standards and regulations, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Industry certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH, are a plus.
