Job Title: Curriculum Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Curriculum Specialist to join our team. As a Curriculum Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs to meet the needs of our students. This is a pivotal role in our organization, as you will be responsible for designing, revising, and evaluating curriculum materials to ensure high-quality instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop curriculum materials for various subjects and grade levels, ensuring alignment with state and national standards.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, teachers, and other stakeholders to identify learning objectives and create engaging and effective instructional materials.
• Conduct research and stay updated on current educational trends and best practices to inform curriculum development.
• Utilize technology and multimedia tools to enhance the learning experience for students.
• Review and revise existing curriculum materials to reflect changes in standards, educational trends, and student needs.
• Work with teachers to provide training and support in implementing new curriculum materials.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum materials and make necessary adjustments to improve student learning outcomes.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective implementation of curriculum materials.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in curriculum development, preferably in a K-12 setting.
• Knowledge of state and national standards and educational best practices.
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and strategies.
• Proficient in using technology and multimedia tools for instructional purposes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
