Position: Curriculum and Instruction Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to join our team as a Curriculum and Instruction Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum and instructional programs that align with our organization's goals and objectives. You will work closely with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality education to our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement curriculum and instructional programs that are aligned with state standards and best practices in education.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders to identify curriculum needs and evaluate existing programs.
• Conduct research on new teaching methods, materials, and technologies to enhance curriculum delivery.
• Design and deliver professional development workshops and training sessions for teachers to improve instructional strategies.
• Create and maintain curriculum maps, lesson plans, and other instructional materials.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of curriculum and instructional programs through data analysis and feedback from teachers and students.
• Develop and implement strategies to support struggling students and ensure academic success for all students.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in education and incorporate them into curriculum and instructional design.
• Provide support and guidance to teachers in implementing curriculum and instructional practices.
• Collaborate with other curriculum and instruction specialists to share best practices and resources.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in education, curriculum and instruction, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development principles and practices.
• Familiarity with state standards and best practices in education.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to design and deliver effective professional development workshops.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in educational technology and learning management systems.
