Position: Curriculum Development Specialist

Job Description: We are seeking a highly qualified Curriculum Development Specialist to join our dynamic and innovative education team. As the Curriculum Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing engaging and effective curriculum materials for our organization. Your expertise in instructional design, pedagogy, and curriculum development will be crucial in ensuring that our educational programs meet the highest standards of quality and relevance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify the learning needs of our target audience
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop learning objectives and outcomes that align with organizational goals
• Design and develop innovative and interactive curriculum materials, including lesson plans, assessments, activities, and multimedia resources
• Utilize best practices in instructional design, pedagogy, and assessment to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of our curriculum
• Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure that all curriculum materials are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with industry standards
• Continuously evaluate and enhance existing curriculum materials to improve learning outcomes
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in curriculum development, instructional design, and educational technology
• Train and support educators in implementing the curriculum and utilizing instructional materials effectively
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the curriculum meets the needs of diverse learners, including special needs and English language learners
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide progress updates and gather feedback for continuous improvement
• Contribute to the development and implementation of training programs for educators and curriculum developers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development, preferably in an educational or training setting
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles, learning theories, and pedagogical strategies
• Proficient in using instructional design software, learning management systems, and multimedia tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management skills and ability to work independently and in teams
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Passionate about education and committed to creating high-quality and engaging learning experiences for diverse learners
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements
