Position: Electrical Power Systems Analyst

Location: Parakou, Benin

Overview: PowerGen Electric Corp is seeking an experienced Electrical Power Systems Analyst to join our team. This individual will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing electrical power systems for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, as well as a thorough understanding of power system analysis and design principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct power system analysis and design for new and existing projects
• Perform load flow, short circuit, and stability studies to ensure system reliability and efficiency
• Develop and maintain electrical system models using industry-standard software
• Create detailed reports and documentation of power system analysis results
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure design and implementation align with client requirements and project goals
• Identify and troubleshoot any issues or challenges related to power system design and implementation
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices related to electrical power systems
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and clients

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical power systems analysis and design
• Strong understanding of power system analysis and design principles, including load flow, short circuit, and stability studies
• Proficient in using industry-standard software such as ETAP, PSS/E, or similar
• Experience with power system modeling and simulation
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to electrical power systems
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required
