Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement musical programs and performances that align with the organization's goals and objectives
Select and arrange musical pieces, including choosing repertoire, instrumentation, and vocal parts
Conduct rehearsals and performances, providing guidance and instruction to musicians and vocalists
Collaborate with other staff members, including choreographers, stage directors, and technical personnel, to ensure a seamless and well-executed production
Lead the musical direction of the organization, providing creative vision and guidance for future performances and projects
Manage and coordinate music-related activities, such as auditions, music festivals, and workshops
Maintain and manage musical equipment, including instruments, sheet music, and sound systems
Stay up-to-date on current trends and developments in the music industry, and incorporate new techniques and technologies into performances
Develop and maintain relationships with musicians, composers, and other professionals in the music industry to enhance the organization's musical offerings

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Music Director, with a proven track record of successful performances and productions
Extensive knowledge of music theory, composition, and arrangement
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with a diverse group of individuals
Proficiency in conducting and directing musical performances
Experience with a variety of musical genres and styles
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate rehearsals and performances
