Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Learning and Development Specialist to join our team and play a key role in the growth and development of our organization. As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training and development programs for our employees. You will work closely with various departments to identify learning needs and create customized training solutions that align with our company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
• Conduct needs assessments to identify learning and development needs within the organization
• Design and deliver engaging and interactive training sessions, both in-person and virtually
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to create training materials and resources
• Evaluate training effectiveness and make necessary improvements for continuous improvement
• Manage and maintain the learning management system to track employee training and development progress
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in training and development to ensure our programs are relevant and effective
• Partner with managers to provide coaching and support for employee development plans
• Conduct onboarding and orientation sessions for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the organization
• Assist with the development and implementation of performance management processes and tools
• Support the creation and maintenance of career development programs for employees
• Manage and coordinate external training programs and vendors as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in training and development, preferably in a corporate environment
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design techniques
• Experience designing and delivering both in-person and virtual training sessions
• Proficient in learning management systems and e-learning platforms
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines
• Passion for continuous learning and development
• Certifications in training and development (e.g. CPLP, CPTD) are preferred but not required
