Job Title: Parks and Recreation Supervisor

City Recreation Hub is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parks and Recreation Supervisor to oversee the operations of our parks and recreational facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining, managing, and improving the overall quality and functionality of our parks and recreational areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the maintenance and improvement of parks and recreational facilities
• Manage a team of park maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective operations
• Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Conduct regular inspections of parks and recreational areas to ensure compliance with safety standards and identify areas for improvement
• Coordinate with other departments and external contractors to plan and execute park improvement projects
• Develop and maintain relationships with community groups, stakeholders, and vendors to enhance park programs and services
• Create and manage budgets for park maintenance, programs, and events
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote park events and programs
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve park operations and services
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including health and safety standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Parks and Recreation, Outdoor Recreation, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in park management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven experience in budgeting, project management, and resource allocation
• Knowledge of parks and recreational facilities maintenance and operations
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
