Job Title: Harvesting Operations Manager

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Harvesting Operations Manager to join our team. As the Harvesting Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all harvesting operations for our company. This is a leadership role that requires strong communication, organization, and management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies for efficient and effective harvesting operations
• Plan and schedule harvesting activities to meet production targets
• Monitor and analyze harvesting costs, production levels, and quality control to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of harvested products
• Manage and maintain harvesting equipment, including scheduling repairs and maintenance
• Hire, train, and supervise a team of harvesting staff, providing guidance and support as needed
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other industry professionals
• Continuously seek out opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
• Prepare and present reports on harvesting operations to upper management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry, or related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in harvesting operations management
• Strong knowledge of harvesting equipment and techniques
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven track record of meeting production targets and reducing costs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
