Job Title: Academic Program Director

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and innovative Academic Program Director to lead and manage our academic programs. As the Academic Program Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of all academic programs within our institution. You will work closely with faculty members, staff, and students to ensure the delivery of high-quality programs that meet the needs of our diverse student population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for all academic programs, in alignment with the institution's overall mission and goals.
• Collaborate with faculty members to design and revise curriculum, ensuring that programs are relevant, current, and meet accreditation standards.
• Oversee the recruitment, selection, and evaluation of faculty members, ensuring that they possess the necessary qualifications and skills to deliver high-quality instruction.
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement or changes as needed.
• Manage the budget for academic programs, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with other academic institutions, industry professionals, and organizations to enhance program offerings and opportunities for students.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in the academic field, incorporating them into program development and curriculum design.
• Provide leadership and support to faculty members, staff, and students, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Handle any student or faculty concerns or grievances related to academic programs, taking appropriate action to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements for academic programs.

Requirements:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in academic program management, preferably at the Director level.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of curriculum design, program evaluation, and accreditation processes.
• Demonstrated understanding of budget management and resource allocation.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
