Job Overview: As a Welding Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our company's production process by ensuring the highest level of quality in all our welding operations. You will be responsible for performing a variety of welding techniques on a wide range of steel materials, including structural steel, pipes, and sheet metal. Your expertise in welding will be vital in fabricating and assembling steel components for various construction and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding specifications to determine the appropriate welding techniques and equipment required.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including gas and electric welding machines, to join steel components.
• Inspect and measure welded surfaces to ensure they meet the required specifications.
• Identify and troubleshoot any welding defects and make necessary repairs.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects.
• Comply with all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in welding, preferably in steel fabrication.
• Valid welding certification from a recognized institution.
• Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Strong knowledge of welding equipment and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify welding defects.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform welding duties for extended periods.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
