Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop steel fabrication plans and processes, taking into consideration requirements and specifications from clients and structural engineers.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering teams to ensure that steel fabrication meets project goals and timelines.
Conduct research and analysis on various steel materials and techniques to improve fabrication methods and reduce costs.
Oversee the fabrication process, including quality control and inspection of materials and finished products.
Develop and implement safety measures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all fabrication workers.
Provide technical support and guidance to fabrication workers and resolve any issues that may arise during the fabrication process.
Monitor and maintain equipment, tools, and machinery used in the fabrication process to ensure they are in good working condition.
Prepare detailed reports and documentation on fabrication process, including progress reports, material usage, and cost analysis.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in steel fabrication, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
Strong knowledge of steel fabrication techniques, materials, and equipment.
Proficient in CAD software and other relevant engineering software.
Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to steel fabrication.
