Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement database solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to industry best practices.
Analyze existing database infrastructure and make recommendations for optimization and performance improvement.
Develop and implement data migration strategies for transferring data between different databases and platforms.
Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve database-related issues.
Create and maintain documentation on database design, architecture, and procedures.
Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies and techniques to improve database performance and efficiency.
Conduct regular database audits to ensure data integrity and security.
Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans for all databases.
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members on database-related matters.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with database management systems.
Proven experience in database design, implementation, and optimization.
Strong understanding of database principles and architecture.
Expertise in SQL and database query optimization.
Experience with database performance monitoring and tuning tools.
Knowledge of data migration techniques and tools.
Experience with database security and data backup and recovery.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
