Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Student Success Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and resources to students to ensure their academic success and personal development. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong interpersonal skills, a student-centered approach, and the ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement programs and initiatives to support student success, retention, and graduation rates.
• Provide academic advising to students on course selection, degree requirements, and academic policies.
• Conduct regular check-ins with at-risk students and provide intervention and referral services as needed.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify and address student needs and concerns.
• Plan and facilitate workshops, seminars, and events related to academic and personal success.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and use data to track student progress and identify areas of improvement.
• Serve as a liaison between students and academic departments to resolve academic-related issues.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local organizations and resources to provide students with internship and job opportunities.
• Assist with the recruitment and orientation of new students.
• Stay updated with current trends and best practices in student success and higher education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in student services, academic advising, or related field.
• Strong understanding of student development theory and best practices in student success.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and student information systems.
• Knowledge of data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of students, faculty, and staff.
